Good morning Mpulungu! Another day we spend in the Zambian porttown. It’s an early morning, but the town is already awake. The sun fights its way through the porous layer of clouds and gently warms the cold earth of Mpulungu’s central square. It cannot be a wealthy town, as we see the run-down fronts of the shabby shacks that embrace the central square. However, this should not darken our mind. Let’s enjoy the early morning hours during which the day is still innocent and the people friendly and welcoming. Wait till the sun has finished its work defeating the clouds. Until then we have time to greet and talk, as we should always have time for such things…
