A rainy and grey day, ugly, demotivating, almost depressing. Even if you were too tired to sense the water drops on your skin: it was a day to stay at home. A day that provided you with time to dream. On such grey days I like to look at some pictures and sink into them, pictures like the one above from Kaunas, Lithuania. I remember the moment when we arrived on this bridge, stopped and watched the last light of the day. We had been cycling all day long. Rain and wind had been fighting us. A tire had bursted and we had to fix it on the emergency lane of the highway, always watching the dark clouds in our back, the clouds that would bring us the next thunderstorm. It was an exhausting day, but even more impressive was the beauty of this light in the end. All the pain and suffering suddenly got valuable. Not that today was such a painful day. It might have just been a little bit boring. But almost every day got a moment filled with such light like the one on the picture above. You just got to catch it….
