And there we go again! One more picture of Mount Pilatus, lucerne’s landmark mountain. 2100 meters high. Always watching the citizens of the town, which is crawling up the mountain’s feet. Sometimes he seems to be a friendly guard, sometimes a mysterious threat brewing fog, clouds, rain from its thousands of years old rocks and sending the mixture over the town to punish those who did not worship him enough. He can be a beauty, when the sun rises high enough to make him glimmer like a huge, golden clump. However, if he was not there, how far could we see? Is it this barrier that tightens not only our optical, but also our idealistic view?
