Another view from my balcony at the Weststreet, formerly the street with the most traffic in the entire town of Zurich. House owners have now started renovating their houses as the government of Zurich intends to upgrade the area. The shabby, but affordable apartments  are turned into nice, costly residences for wealthy people. Students and immigrants have to leave, yuppies take over the place. So are the laws of money, so are the laws of our society, no use of lamenting. Let’s hope that at least the workers cleaning up the construction site in the frosty snowfall get their share of the value enhancement process they are part of.
