View from the Technical Highschool Zurich. What we see are the symbols of our western culture: christian churches. So what, you might ask. Why is this picture of interest to anybody? Don’ t we all know what a church looks like?

Surely we do. Do we all look at them consciously when we pass by? I don’t think so.

Swiss people have decided to banish building minarets in Swiss towns, because they saw them as symbols of political islam. Here we see four church spires that seem to control and rule the centre of Zurich. To me, they look like symbols of political christianity. Why not banish them?
